No, Vysio does not compile or run code on your iPad, preserving battery life and device performance. Instead, it connects to powerful remote development environments and wraps them in a custom, fully optimized fullscreen container with hardware keyboard support.
Security is our top priority. Your GitHub access tokens are stored exclusively in the secure Apple Keychain on your device, and Face ID is required to access the app. Connection is direct to GitHub APIs with no intermediate backend servers.
Yes! In addition to GitHub Codespaces, you can add custom workspace URLs for self-hosted instances of code-server, Coder, Gitpod, openvscode-server, or any web-accessible IDE environment.
Not currently. Unlike iPadOS, iOS lacks direct pointer compatibility for IDE desktop interactions, requiring a custom virtual pointer system to be implemented. Because our current focus is delivering the ultimate desktop-class iPad workflow, an iPhone version is not on our immediate roadmap.
